One Cymru North team is guaranteed to be in the semi-finals of the JD Welsh Cup after the two remaining tier-two sides in the competition drew each other in the last eight tonight.

Flint Town United, second in the CN, will be home to league leaders Prestatyn Town in the quarter-finals on February 28-March 1.

The teams have met once in the league this season, Prestatyn winning 3-2 at Cae-y-Castell in October.

In last weekend’s fourth round ties, Flint pipped Colwyn Bay 3-2, while the Seasiders triumphed 1-0 at Swansea University.

The rest of the draw saw holders The New Saints land a home tie against Newtown, Connah’s Quay Nomads will entertain Cardiff Met University and Caernarfon Town host Cefn Druids.
