Steve Whittaker of Cemaes Bay now has a 13-goal lead in the 2019-20 Bob Brodie Trophy standings.
Whittaker, who won the competition also as a Cemaes player in 2014-15 with 42 goals, is well on his way to passing that total as his five against Llandegfan last weekend moved him up to 39.
Justin Williams recently became the third player to pass the 20-goals mark this season with a double for Trearddur Bay Bulls.
The annual competition for the leading goalscorer in Anglesey senior football is now in its ninth season and commemorates Bob, a former manager and player on the island, who sadly passed away in 2011.
Since then, there have been five Anglesey League and three Welsh Alliance winners of the golden boot, with the holder of the record for the most goals going to James Ryan, who netted 72 for Caergybi last year.
