Jacob Walker was a five-goal hero as Denbigh Town chalked up a remarkable 11-1 away win at Blaenau Amateurs in Welsh Alliance Division One.

Walker is now on a stunning 31 goals in all competitions this season for a team currently lying second, five points behind leaders Holyhead Hotspur.

After notching a first-half hat-trick with strikes on 23 seconds, then 28 and 39 minutes, Walker added to his tally following the break on 72 and 78.

Skipper Mark Roberts also weighed in with a treble in the opening half, while Jacob Barrett, Jonathan Terry and Daniel Clarke completed the rout.

Meilir Williams replied for totally outgunned Blaenau.

Holyhead Hotspur are still in command at the summit after whipping bottom side Prestatyn Sports 5-1 at the New Stadium.

Alex Jones (2), Deian Parry, Asa Thomas and Dean Garmey were the hitmen for the hosts, who have a perfect home record of six wins from as many starts.

Highly-rated young prospect Mitch Jones impressed when coming on as a substitute.

Kris Owen was the Sports scorer.

Adam Griffiths and Rhys Hughes netted in the second half as Penrhyndeudraeth recorded a 2-0 triumph over Mynydd Llandegai.

St Asaph City and Nantlle Vale shared the honours 1-1.

Aaron Hughes handed Vale a half time lead but Josh Brown levelled in the second period on 65 minutes.

Just the one match was played in Division Two, Pwllheli earning the spoils 3-2 at Llandudno Junction.

Dafydd Gwyn Jones bagged a brace, including an 88th minute decider, for Pwllheli, Jamie Banks also on the mark. Jack Williams and Harry Parkes-Smith ran the Railwaymen close.
