Caernarfon proved once again they are up with the very best in the Cymru Premier by thrashing a Barry side which had gone unbeaten in their first 11 games.
Darren Thomas, Gruff John, Nathan Craig (pen) and Sion Bradley were all on target for the Cofis, who would have won by more but for the heroics of visiting keeper Mike Lewis.

Llanrwst United 4 Bangor 1876 1

Normally a third-tier Welsh Alliance side beating a tier-five Gwynedd League team 4-1 would be considered the norm, but this FAW Trophy result came in somewhat different circumstances.
Bangor 1876 had won all 13 previous games this season, and eliminated a trio of tier-three sides from knockout competition.
Llanrwst, by contrast, had made an average start to their Welsh Alliance campaign.
However, this day saw the Rwsters run out deserved winners, Matthew Mullender, Sam Roberts, Callum Parry and an own goal sealing a home success, Benn Lundstram with a consolation for the visitors.

Greenfield 0 Cefn Mawr Rangers 2

What a result for the tier-four side Cefn Mawr Rangers as they dumped renowned cup fighters and strong Welsh Alliance outfit Greenfield out of the FAW Trophy.
Aron Blackwell and Chris Roberts provided the goals for the Welsh National League Division One heroes, who now take on Welshpool Town at home in the last 32.

Rhostyllen 2 Rhos Aelwyd 4

Sitting much higher than their opponents in the Welsh National League Premier, Rhostyllen were favourites for this one, but the 2018 Trophy finalists Aelwyd produced the magic on the day to win 4-2.
Jake Simms, James Haynes, Liam Davies and Ryan Jenkins all found the net for the visitors, Steven Jones and Andrew Bithell responding.

Mountain Rangers 1 Holyhead Hotspur Res 4

Tremendous win for away-day specialists Hotspur over Anglesey League pace-setters Rangers in this Huws Gray Megan Cup second round battle.
Deian Parry (2), Kurt Williams and Casey Gregg ensured the visitors progressed, Osian Hughes Jones the only Rangers net-finder.

Mynydd Llandegai 4 Nantlle Vale 4

There was a thriller at Llandegai, where the home side recovered from 4-1 down in this Welsh Alliance Division One scrap to draw four-apiece with Nantlle Vale.
Aaron Hughes, Ashley Owen, Sion Williams and Aaron Thomas ensured Vale were 4-1 up at half time, Tom Collins having struck first for Mynydd.
In the second half Llandegai launched a stunning comeback, Gwyn Pritchard Jones (2) and Osian Jones salvaging them a point. Big fightbacks are becoming a habit for this Mynydd side.
