Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League: Premier top two Gele and Rhuddlan finish all-square

Abergele and Rhuddlan Town kicked off their derby unbeaten and at the end of 90 minutes both remained undefeated as their Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League Premier Division clash finished 3-3.

Connah Atkinson (2) and Sam Aston struck for leaders Gele, Jordan Frazer, Jay Whitehouse and Matty Rees (pen) ensuring the visitors shared the spoils.

After a blank first half, a Jake Hughes deflected effort put the visitors 1-0 up on 51 minutes.

The match was in its 92nd minute when Ianto Roberts made a great run, keeping the ball in play, beat a defender and put a deep cross into the six-yard box for Robin Hughes to head into the net.

Two minutes later Owain Hughes delivered the ball from a corner for veteran Siôn Jones to nod in the decider.

In Division One, unbeaten Llysfaen dished out a 9-1 away caning on Llanfairfechan Town Reserves.
