Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League: Premier top two Gele and Rhuddlan finish all-square

Llanfairfechan Town won 8-0 on their travels

Abergele and Rhuddlan Town kicked off their derby unbeaten and at the end of 90 minutes both remained undefeated as their Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League Premier Division clash finished 3-3.

Connah Atkinson (2) and Sam Aston struck for leaders Gele, Jordan Frazer, Jay Whitehouse and Matty Rees (pen) ensuring the visitors shared the spoils.

Llanfairfechan Town romped to an 8-0 victory at Llanelwy Athletic.

Jay Haggas (3), Ryan Lewis (2), Sion Devereux, James Cory and Tom Croston split the goal deluge.

Geraint Jones (3) and Joe Maguire guided Llansannan to a 4-2 result against Y Glannau, Kyle Hulme and Owain Jones replying.

Bro Cernyw produced two goals in added time to edge a 2-1 decision against Meliden.

After a blank first half, a Jake Hughes deflected effort put the visitors 1-0 up on 51 minutes.

The match was in its 92nd minute when Ianto Roberts made a great run, keeping the ball in play, beat a defender and put a deep cross into the six-yard box for Robin Hughes to head into the net.

Two minutes later Owain Hughes delivered the ball from a corner for veteran Siôn Jones to nod in the decider.

In Division One, unbeaten Llysfaen dished out a 9-1 away caning on Llanfairfechan Town Reserves.

Sean Sheridan (4), Rhys Kennedy (2), Nathan Russell (2) and Dan Ashton delivered the away tally.

Llandudno Amateurs Reserves outscored Rhyl All-Stars 5-2, Sean Sharp, Matty Roberts, Stan Farrell, Morgan Davies and Sam Maddocks grabbing one apiece for the hosts, John Silla and Jamie Hughes responding.

Sam Llewelyn (3), Callum Jones and Matthew Latham (2) ensured Betws-y-Coed hammered hosts Henllan 6-1, Craig Taylor with a home consolation.

Denbigh Development squeezed past Machno United 3-2, Arran Williams, John Lewis and Zak Ellis with the goals for the winners, Dion Lloyd and Harry Kirkham for the visitors.

NFA dismantled Penrhyn Bay Dragons 11-1 in the REM Jones Cup first round, Jordan Taylor scoring five, Matthew Robinson, Ste Falvey, Nathan Griffiths, Liam Stocks, Adam Ames and Sam Warhurst one apiece, Ryan McIlvogue the sole away marksman.
