Holywell FC Girls and Ladies have entered the North Wales Ladies Recreational Football League, replacing Connah’s Quay Nomads’ development team, which has withdrawn.
Holywell now take over Nomads’ fixtures in Group East.
Meanwhile, the latest two matches in East brought mixed fortunes for Llysfaen Lionesses.
Last Sunday, Llysfaen were beaten 4-0 by Kinmel Bay, Jessica Hall, Jessica Jones, Lucy Perry and Seren Williams with the goals for the winning team.
Better times came Llysfaen’s way last night as they inflicted a 5-0 defeat on Dragonhearts, Alannah Dunne (2), Sophie Fisher (2) and Sophie Heap producing the goals.
