Anglesey League: Wins for Y Fali, Mountain Rangers, Hotspur, Cemaes and Pentraeth

CPD Y Fali made it five wins out of six in the Lucas Oil Anglesey League with a well-earned 3-2 home triumph against Arriva Bangor.

An early error at the back gifted Scott Hughes Arriva’s first goal, but Fali responded with some strong attacking and a lovely corner from Jerome Sillence was met by a towering Ryan Heywood for 1-1.

Many efforts followed from the home side before Paul Williams poked the ball into the net to make it 2-1 at half time.

After the break Fali were eager to get another and from.the off a mix up in the Arriva defence enabled Sillence to round the keeper and score,

Further chances went begging for the hosts before Rhys Thomas pulled one back for the visitors.

Mountain Rangers remain top and unbeaten after beating Bodorgan 3-1 at Rhosgadfan.

Declan Williams, Ian Pleming and Sam Williams netted for the hosts, Luke Winter having brought the away team level in the second half.

An Andy Williams hat-trick sealed Cemaes Bay a 3-0 result at Llanfairpwll, while Kenny Williams (2), Tony Farrar and Dyfed Alston ensured Pentraeth Reserves outscored Cefni 4-1, Andrew Cleator replying.

On Friday night, Holyhead Hotspur Reserves caned Llandegfan 8-1, Cameron Eaton (2), Curt Williams (3), Phil Jones, Craig Moore and Casey Gregg sharing the home tally.
