Cefni are just three points away from being back in credit in the Anglesey League following Saturday’s 4-0 home win over Llandegfan.

Recently deducted 18 points for fielding ineligible players, Cefni’s total now reads minus two after their latest victory.

They remain bottom of the table but Llandegfan are just three points ahead of them on one.

Ben Wright (2), Gwion Williams and Kyle Williams delivered Saturday’s goals.

Cemaes Bay trailed 1-0 at half time, but fought back to beat Llanfairpwll 5-1 in the Digital Elias Cup.

Owain Davies handed ‘Pwll an interval lead, but after the break Lewis Connor (2), Steve Whittaker, Daniel Jones and Dafydd Jones all netted for the School Lane hosts.

Mountain Rangers progressed 3-1 at Holyhead Town Reserves, Sam Williams (2) and Cian Davies-Hughes for the visitors, Robert Thomas replying.

Jason Hughes was fantastic in goal for Rangers, denying the dangerous Gary Jo Owen several times to seal the man of the match performance.

In the Lucas Oil Cup, Y Fali edged a 1-0 verdict over Pentraeth Reserves, Tudur Williams with the decider.
