Danny Edwards, Joe Humphreys and George Phoenix all pocketed two apiece, Finley Dyer and Gary Evans adding singles, but the spirited visitors did get off the mark for the season through Brandon Griffiths’ 38th minute strike.

Matty Holmes was a hat-trick hero in Penyffordd Lions’ 6-1 away tanning of Bradley Park, Ryan Ankers, Euan Edwards and Brad Cotton also on the mark, Kirk Ratcliffe having brought the hosts level by half time.

Borras Park Albion made it four points out of six with a 2-2 home draw against Mold Town United.
