Entries open for new North Wales Road Relay Championships

Entries are now open for the new North Wales Road Relay Championships.

Organised by the NW Regional Athletics Council, the event will be held on Sunday 15th September, with teams of three runners are invited to register.

This exciting new attraction is open to all running clubs, individuals and organisations, with teams of three similar age category members required.

The course will be staged on Llandudno Promenade starting from a known point opposite Venue Cymru to the Cenotaph is one km (so that there and back is 2km). To ensure absolute accuracy, the course will shortly be re-measured.

Organisers, the NWRAC, have confirmed there will three separate races for a variety of different age categories.

The first race starts at 10am.

Race One:
U/13 boys and U/15 boys; U/13 girls and U/15 girls; M70+ and F70+
Each team to consist of 3 athletes, who will run 2km each.

Race Two:
15 – 19 boys; 15 – 19 girls (combined U/17 & U/20 age-group)
Each team to consist of 3 athletes, who will run 4km each.

Race Three:
SM + M35; SL + F35 (both combined age-group); M40-49, F40-49;
M50-59; F50-59; M60-69, F60-69
Each team to consist of 3 athletes, who will run 4km each.
