Queens Park maintained their stunning start to life in Tier 3 with a 5-1 away thumping of Cefn Albion on Tuesday evening.
Top of the table with three straight wins – 6-2 v Corwen, 6-1 v Dolgellau and now 5-1 v Albion – the Wrexham-based side, North East Wales League Division 1 champions last season, put in a magnificent team performance at The Muga where a crowd of 487 gathered.
Jordan Williams stood out for the visitors with a hat-trick, while there were also singles from Corey Smart and Ethan Simpson.
Even the red card received by prolific striker Michael Pritchard on 50 minutes did not derail the Park express.
Sub Oliwier Fiedor bagged a 72nd minute consolation for Albion.

Bow Street 1 Dolgellau AA 1

Ioan Roberts gave Dolgellau a 35th minute lead at Cae Piod, but Bow Street sealed a point thanks to Steffan Williams’ equaliser on 61.

Carno 0 Knighton Town 2

Luke Boundford netted on 31 and 90+4 minutes to seal victory for Knighton.

Corwen 1 Llangollen Town 5

Emphatic win for Llangollen in Tuesday’s derby at the War Memorial Park, Ed Baker the star turn with a hat-trick, while there were singles for Liam Sklenar and Jamie Hands.

Llanfair United 2 CPD Rhos Aelwyd 0

Ben Jones and Kyle Capner notched the goals which booked maximum points for Llanfair.

Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant 2 Penycae 0

A first defeat for Penycae, with Llanrhaeadr banking the honours thanks a Iwan Matthews double on 29 and 88 minutes.

Radnor Valley 3 Kerry 3

Luke Mumford’s 89th minute leveller rescued a point for Kerry at The Bypass.
Captain Matthew Mumford gave the visitors a sixth-minute lead, Joey Price equalised on 13 from a penalty, but Jamie Breese made it 2-1 Kerry from the spot after 31.
Radnor turned things around in the second half to lead thanks to Matthew Croose and a second Price penalty on 77, but Luke Mumford salvaged the draw.
