A late equaliser kept Trearddur Bay’s unbeaten start to the season intact in a hard fought 2-2 draw at Llannefydd.
Bay started brightly and had a couple of early opportunities to take the lead, with one effort cleared off the line as they put the hosts under pressure.
However, it was Llannefydd who were handed the chance to open the scoring. A contentious decision saw them awarded a penalty in the 34th minute — the third given against Bay in as many games. Tom Jones made no mistake from the spot to take the lead.
Bay’s response was almost immediate. Just four minutes later, Callum Parry found the back of the net to level the game at 1–1 from an Osian Hughes assist, and that was how the sides went into the break.
Bay continued to battle after the restart, but Llannefydd regained the advantage in the 55th minute when Tom Jones’ free kick took a deflection and found the net for his second of the evening.
With time running out, Bay looked to be heading towards their first defeat of the season. But they refused to give up, and deep into injury time, Joe Todd provided Parry with a chance for the crucial equaliser to make it 2–2 with his second of the match.
The late goal ensured Bay’s unbeaten run continued, with the leaders rescuing a valuable point.

Bethesda Athletic 0 Llanrwst United 2

Llanrwst maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a victory at Parc Meurig which placed them in second spot.
The visitors took a 15th minute lead and it was that man Luke O’Mahoney again, the striker keeping up his record of scoring in every game so far, taking his record to eight goals in five outings with a successful penalty.
The Rwsters clinched the points on 78 minutes when O’Mahoney created the assist that enabled 17-year-old Jack Clague to make it 2-0.

Broughton United 6 NFA 0

Promoted Broughton claimed their first win – and in some style.
Just three days after a 10-2 defeat at Trearddur Bay, United responded in magnificent fashion, putting six past NFA, condemning their opponents to what is believed to be a club record loss.
The visitors started well and it took the Saints a while to find a rhythm, but after Jayden Evans opened the scoring on 40 minutes – with Jordan Foster doubling the lead shortly after, the hosts took control.
Second half the home side dominated and added four more – Jayden Evans, sub Luke Muia (2) and Elliott Evans with the goals.
Lewis Thornton claimed his first clean sheet of the reason, whilst MOM was awarded to Jordan Foster

Llay Miners Welfare 3 Connah’s Quay Town 1

Joshua Phillips and Scott Swords netted in the first half, Sam Bryan with a pair of assists, to put Llay in the driving seat at the break.
Bryan made it a hat-trick of assists in the second half as J J King made it 3-0 just three minutes after the restart.
The home side had Taylor Edwards dismissed for a second yellow on 61 minutes, but Connah’s Quay could only score once against the 10 men, Kyle Shaw on target.

Prestatyn Town 1 Mynydd Isa 0

Tom Hilditch made it four goals in three games for Prestatyn in a hard-fought but deserved victory at Bastion Gardens.
In the 25th minute, Connor Davies played a neat through ball to Hilditch, whose first effort was saved but he headed in the rebound.
Prestatyn lie third with an unbeaten record.

Kinmel Bay 0 Penmaenmawr Phoenix 1

A dour, no-quarter-given clash took place at Y Morfa where Penmaenmawr sealed the points with a 19th minute goal from Jay Sutton, who converted a loose ball after home keeper James Roberts kept out a Logan Williams free kick.
Tate Walker hit the post in the second half, but there was to be no equaliser for the hosts.
