A very young Meliden Development side made up mainly of 16 and 17-year-olds put up a great show in their debut game at home to Mochdre.
The Miners took a 19th minute lead when Morgan Gray’s deflected free kick found the back of the net.
It remained 1-0 until just past the hour when substitute Will Rylance levelled on his Mochdre debut, Riley Cranham with the assist.
And the points were sealed in the 84th minute when Scott Roberts found sub Jac Thomas who scored with a great strike.
