Llandudno 1st XI (18) 165-10 Buckley 1st XI (6) 130-10

Tom Thornton has reached 500 career wickets for Llandudno Cricket Club – congratulations to him many times over!
The 32-year-old paceman reached the magic figure when he took 1-23 in Division One leaders Tudno’s home win over Buckley on Saturday.
Thornton has claimed 460 North Wales League wickets, 360 of them for the 1st XI, with the rest made up in games for other teams within the club.
Llandudno won the toss and batted, posting a total of 165 all out from 37 overs, Kevin James 32 not out and Sam Rimmington 32, Bucks’ Fabio Franco scooping an excellent 4-19 from eight, Louis Parry 3-19 and Matthew Blunden 2-28.
In reply, the Flintshire visitors were dismissed for 130, Rocco Franco 36, Lalmon TV 4-15 from nine and Shana Kelly 2-13.
Thornton brought up the 500 when he had Adam Shaw caught by Elliott Hughes off his bowling for 0.

Bangor 2nd XI (5) 171-10 Northop 2nd XI (18) 275-6

Opener James Roberts led the way with 83 as Northop seconds built a winning total at Ty Newydd.
The visitors set a formidable 275-6, Paul Lindfield adding 57 not out and Darren Williams 30, Jamie Davies 2-30 and Tomos Davies 2-51 for the Citizens.
The hosts were sent packing for 171, Peter Jones with a defiant 84, Joe Griffiths 3-22 and Tomos Hughes 3-23 for the winning travellers.

Bethesda 1st XI (6) 218-6 Connah’s Quay 1st XI (18) 219-5

It was a battle of the 102 not outs at Parc Villa, Matthew Harrington making that score for hosts Bethesda, but Avro Burger doing the same for Connah’s Quay, who triumphed by five wickets in a good contest.
Opener Harrington starred in Pesda’s effort of 218-6, striking 17 fours in his unbeaten ton, while skipper Ben Parker contributed 47, Luke Bennett 2-30 for the Deesiders.
In reply Quay reached 219-5 off 41 overs. Burger recorded 13 fours and a six in his undefeated 95-ball innings, while captain Joshua Clarke added an important 42, Marlyn Gamage 3-52 and Parker 2-32 for the home side.

Conwy 1st XI (4) 127-10 Abergele 1st XI (18) 131-7

Edward Rooney claimed a career best for Abergele

A low-scoring thriller at Bodlondeb ended up in Abergele’s favour in a battle between two long-standing rivals.
Conwy elected to bat and were all back in the pavilion for a modest 127 off 34.5 overs, opener Harrison Hudson, who broke the league’s individual highest score with 254 the previous week, this time having to settle for 50 which took him past 1,000 league runs for the season off just 12 innings.
Edward Rooney was the star man for Gele, taking a career-best 5-6 off 4.5 overs, while Osian Murray-Williams pocketed 2-30.
In response, Abergele recovered from 73-6 to get home with 131-7 off 41.2, Gwil Lloyd Jones with a crucial 41 not out, Bailey Davies 3-29 for the hosts.

Mochdre 2nd XI (2) 148-10 Halkyn 1st XI (18) 149-3

Nabeel Khan was in a hurry to guide Halkyn to victory

Opener Nabeel Khan lit the fire with 71 off 57 balls as Halkyn reached the winning post off just 19.1 overs at Blackmarsh Road.
Mochdre seconds won the toss and batted, getting removed for 148, skipper Adam Jones 39 and Owen Opie 31, Hammad Bajwa 3-15, Nathan Lavender 3-53 and Nathan Roett 2-17 for the visitors.
Halkyn then stormed to 148-3 off 115 balls, Nabell the trailblazer, Alex J Davies 2-41 for the travellers.

Pontblyddyn 1st XI (18) 217-5 Gresford 1st XI (6) 201-10

Aby Dey (59 not out), Vishwa Manawaduge and Ben Mason (both 41) and 31 from skipper Michael Littler helped Pontblyddyn chalk up a winning 217-5 off 45 overs, Chris Ellwood 2-34 for Gresford, who were then bowled out for 201, Ellwood 42, Pont’s Ioan Jones 3-23, Manawaduge 2-26, Ethan Roberts 23-29 and Rhys Jones 2-32 for the victors.
