Club stalwart appointed new CPD Mynydd Llandegai manager

Pob lwc Pij

CPD Mynydd Llandegai have announced the name of their new manager.

Iwan “Pij” Morris is one of the most well-known faces connected with the North Wales Coast West Premier Division club.

He replaces Jay Roberts, who stepped down this week.

A Mynydd Llandegai statement said: “I don’t think Pij needs much of an introduction. One of the club’s most familiar faces, and captain of the first team for many years, he has played a very important role for us on the pitch as a player and also off the pitch throughout the years.”

The new manager said: “It’s not what I expected, coming back off my holidays to become manager of Mynydd — just hope I last longer than Liz Truss!

“It hasn’t been the easiest start to our pre‑season, but it’s time to put everything behind us and work hard to get a better season this time.”
