St Asaph roared into top spot and are now the only unbeaten side in the Premier after thrashing previously undefeated Menai Bridge by 124 runs at Elwy Park Grove.
Winning the toss and deciding to bat, Saints openers Kyle Williams (77) and Evan Williams (36) put on 117 before an alarming collapse saw the home total dip to 122-4 and 135-5.
However, Dan Evans and Danny Ryan came together with the score 163-6 and put on a match-turning unbroken 110 for the seventh wicket.
Evans ended on 85 not out off 69 balls – five fours and four sixes – while Ryan was 43 no from 39 deliveries at the close of innings.
Wicket-keeper Kyle Williams had earlier struck 12 fours and a six in his superb effort, Asaph setting 273-6 off their 50 overs.
Gethin Roberts claimed 2-25 and Dion Holden 2-32 for the Anglesey visitors.
In reply, the usually dynamic Bridge batting for once failed as they could only manage 149 all out, Andrew Nuttall 33 and Ayush Verma 31.
Joe Norman dismissed four of the top five, collecting 4-42, while Ankush Upadhyaya nabbed 3-36 to seal an 18-4 points verdict for the new leaders.
Final over drama at Brymbo where the home side got the runs required for victory with three balls to spare.
The visitors were put into bat, chalking up a respectable 224-9 off 50, opener Elliot Colclough best with 83 which included 10 fours, also putting on 57 for the first wicket with Ikjot Thind (27).
Eight bowlers were used by the Steelmen, Richard Deniz topping the figures with 4-31 off 10, Ahamadzia Wali picking up 2-28 and Dikshant Vairagi 2-47.
Brymbo’s response started well with a first-up partnership of 59, but two quick victims for Thomas Hughes livened the contest.
Chris Taylor (79) and Vairagi (23) then added 58 before both getting out, but at 185-4 the hosts looked to be heading towards a comfortable triumph.
However, when captain and danger man Jason Underwood fell to Colclough for 49, it was truly game on.
Three rapid losses had Brymbo 219-9 entering the last over, but George Deniz and Wali saw the Steelmen to the winning post at 227-9 off 49.3.
Hughes notched 3-39 and Bart Ryan-Beswick 3-43 for Northop, who went close to an upset but not close enough.
Captain Harrison Jones took three wickets and scored a magnificent 72 not out to guide Denbigh to victory at Ystrad Road.
Gwersyllt opted to bat and Kastun Stoute and Iroshan De Silva formed a partnership of 92 for the first wicket.
Stoute was bowled for 59 off 50 balls, hitting eight fours and two sixes, but a patient De Silva was there at the end on 76 not out as the visitors set 240-8 off 50.
The middle order contributed some useful scores for Park, while for the home side Harrison Jones snared 3-48 and Ieuan Jones 2-43.
Denbigh’s batting also showed early promise before two quick wickets fell to leave the hosts 110-3, opener Ranija Abeysinghe 47 and Sam Lewis 38.
It was here that Harrison Jones and Shaun Nash joined forces to form a match-clinching undefeated stand of 131.
Jones’ 72 off 61 deliveries included seven fours and three maximums, while Nash ended on 52 no, banking a seven-wicket success for the Vale of Clwyd side.
A welcome win for Bangor at the bottom side.
Calling the coin correctly and deciding on first knock, Hawarden Park plummeted from 39-0 to just 86 all out.
Smit Parekh pocketed 4-4 off 15 balls for the visitors, Daniel Flynn gathering 3-23 and Francois Mostert 2-20.
Bangor’s reply nosedived from 34-0 to 70-5, but that was the final alarm for the Citizens, who added another 20 for no further losses to book a five-wicket victory.
Parekh finished 23 not out to complete a pleasing all-round display, Jac Williams 2-15 for the hosts.
Josh McIntyre’s club best score of 77 helped ensure Mochdre romped home with few problems at Blackmarsh Road.
Mold elected to bat and were dismissed for a modest 142 off 40.2 overs, extras by far the top contributor with 50.
Adam Campion took 3-19, Owen Davies 3-31 and Matty Humphreys 2-46 for the home side, who then breezed to 145-2 from just 19.4 overs.
McIntyre cut loose with 77 off 49 balls, cracking 12 fours and three sixes, while opener Humphreys compiled a more sedate 39 not out.
