Wrexham Foresters is celebrating the end of the club’s very first season with a football festival and fun day at Spider Park, Rhosnesni on Saturday 27 June.
The free event, which runs from 10 am to 3 pm, is open to everyone and has been designed to mark the close of an exciting first season for the club, which includes the women’s team winning its league and obtaining its Tier 2 licence, early success for the men’s Futsal team, as well as the formation of a number of girls and boys grassroots teams at different age groups.
There will be plenty of fun for all the family at the football festival, with entertainment, games, bouncy castles, food stalls and local crafts. There will also be the opportunity to find out more about joining the club as a player or supporter.
Adam Alfi, Wrexham Foresters’ chief executive officer, commented: “We are looking forward to welcoming the local community to our Football Festival at the end of June. We have plenty to celebrate and we would love as many people as possible to join the celebrations and find out more about the club and our future plans.”
There is still time to get involved in the festival, so if you are part of a local community group and would like an opportunity to perform – or if you are a local craftsperson and would like a stall, contact the club secretary, Karin on 07736 945082 or email secretary@wrexhamcfc.com.
