Pwllheli made it 11 matches unbeaten to round off their season after a 5-0 success at Parc Dwyfor on Sunday.
Llanystumdwy were the last team to beat Pwll back in November at the same ground in a Welsh Cup tie, but there was to be no repeat when league points were at stake.
By the same token, that victory against the Llŷn Peninsula side six months ago was Llan’s last triumph in a competitive game.
Pwllheli got off to a flying start when after just five minutes a Lois Thomas cross was tapped in by Sian Moore.
There was no further score until the 42nd minute, Awel Ellis getting her head to a Jini Owen Hughes corner and Lois Thomas converted at the back post.
After the break, Lois Thomas made it 3-0 with her 17th goal of the season. Sara Lacey produced a cracking save, but Thomas was there to find the net from the rebound.
Moore’s 20th goal of another brilliant season for the defender-turned-attacker put the visitors further ahead.
A goal kick came straight to Moore, who advanced into the box and finished one-on-one.
Lowri Hughes added a tremendous fifth as she broke down the right and chipped the keeper to complete the victory.
With their final fixture against Henllan conceded by the Vale of Clwyd side, Pwllheli should be awarded the three points which will ensure they finish third in the table.
