Colwyn Bay clinched the NWCFA Recreational Women’s League title for the second season running with a 2-0 victory over Eglwysbach Queen Bees on Thursday night.

Samantha O’Carroll’s 20th goal of the season gave Bay a 10th minute lead and Anna Jones made it 2-0 with 39 gone.

This means the Seagulls have won back-to-back championships and not lost a single game in doing so, a record of 30 matches, 28 wins and two draws.

In 2025-26, Bay won all 14 of their games, scoring 56 goals and conceding just four, letting in none at all in their last seven matches dating back to the start of the year.
