Pop the champagne! Kinmel Bay Development are league champions!

Kinmel Bay are the 2025-26 North Wales Coast FA Development League East Division champions – congratulations!

Harry Woodfine and Phil Peabody’s side clinched the title on Sunday with a 4-0 home win over Conwy Borough Swifts Development, top-scorer Christian Akoha with a hat-trick and Oliver Gray also on target.

Bay’s 20th victory in 22 starts ensured they finish ahead of the team that pipped them to the championship last season, Penmaenmawr Phoenix.

Kinmel Bay’s only league defeats of 2025-26 both came against Phoenix, but Pen were not able to make those results count in other games, 4-3 losses to Mochdre and Conwy, plus a draw at Y Glannau, costing them dear.

Champions Bay averaged almost six goals per game, netting a huge 128 times in 22 matches, including three double-figure efforts.
