Dedicated, inseparable, invincible……Llangefni Town Ladies 2025-26.

Winning a league is a great feat in itself, but to achieve it without losing a single game, emerging victorious in every match but one, plus averaging four goals per fixture and conceding just seven times over a 16-match schedule….well, that’s something else.

Crowned North Wales Coast League champions the previous weekend, Llangefni signed off the campaign in style with a 6-2 win at a resilient Henllan on Sunday.

However, despite the scoreline, Cefni trailed 2-1 at half time to a team which has struggled for player numbers throughout the season, but never lacked heart or commitment.

Henllan top-scorer Lleucu Williams scored both goals for the hosts and was outstanding throughout.

As for Town, their leading markswoman, Amber Brown, scored twice more to finish on a magnificent 24 goals in all competitions – 22 in the league.

Beth Jones (pen) and Catrin Roberts notched their first league goals of the season, while Ffion Owen and Ellie Coulson also found the net.

Following in the net-busting footsteps of Jess Jones, Jen Cox and Ellie Coulson, Amber is the latest goal-den nugget to emerge under the managership of Dan Gregg and Liam Ewing.

• This title success has been on the cards….just four league defeats in the last three seasons and a 1st place to follow 2 runners-up finishes.

49 minutes – Goal kick from Henllan is headed forward by Ffion Owen into the box, where Lowri Thomas is fouled – penalty. BETH JONES steps up decisively and scores left-footed. Henllan 2 Llangefni 2
59 minutes – Long clearance from keeper Katie Spruce is sliced by a defender into the path of Lowri Thomas. She finds Brown, who slips in FFION OWEN to stab the ball just inside the right post.Henllan 2 Llangefni 3
63 minutes – Beth Jones crosses from the left, Brown’s shot is blocked by keeper Edwards, but CATRIN ROBERTS is on hand to apply the finish. Henllan 2 Llangefni 4
