Which North Wales football club has spent the most amount of seasons in Wales’ top league?
There have been 34 seasons of the League of Wales/Welsh Premier/Cymru Premier since 1992-93.
Of the North Wales contingent, Connah’s Quay Nomads have missed just two of those seasons and in both they were crowned Cymru Alliance/North champions.
Newtown and Aberystwyth Town, both relegated from the top-flight last seasons, still hold the joint record for the highest number of national league campaigns – 33.
So far, 17 North Wales clubs have competed in the Cymru Premier since 1992-93.
