How many North Wales Football teams have made a perfect start to the 2019-20 season?

Almost two months into the 2019-20 North Wales football season, how many teams are still unbeaten?

And what number of those yet to taste defeat have 100% records?

A total of 176 North Wales teams compete across eight senior leagues – Cymru Premier, Cymru North, Welsh Alliance, Welsh National (Wrexham Area), Vale of Clwyd and Conwy, Gwynedd, North East Wales and Anglesey.

Although the total membership of those leagues combined is 187 teams, 11 from either South or Mid Wales are involved in the Cymru Premier or Cymru North.

So which North Wales teams are currently undefeated in 2019-20?

There are presently 18 sides with unbeaten records throughout the leagues and 7 of those have won every game.

From a club point of view, the most successful start has been made by Connah’s Quay Nomads as both their firsts and seconds are unbeaten – a total of 14 games.
