After suffering a heavy 9-1 defeat in their previous meeting with Llanrwst on the first night of the season, Llandudno Valkyries produced a phenomenal response with a dominant victory this time around — showing massive progress, belief and quality across the pitch.
The first half performance was clinical, organised, and full of confidence. The difference in structure and work rate compared to the last meeting was clear for everyone to see.
Goals in Monday night’s win were shared between Ceri Redman (2), Hannah Parry (2), Carly Andrews, Jennifer Davies and captain Kaye Owen.
Nikita Jones replied for Llanrwst.
Colwyn Bay showed once again they are a different level to everyone else in the league by scoring a 12th straight victory on Monday.
Anna Jones and Samantha O’Carroll netted the goals which sealed the win at Dragonhearts. Runaway leaders and reigning champions Bay have not conceded a single goal in their last five matches.
Dragonhearts put up a good battle, Jade Davies as always and Steph Taylor working exceptionally hard. Heidi Morris had a strong game too, but the hosts were unable to convert their chances.
Top scorer Stacy Harrison netted both goals for Cei Connah in Sunday’s cup victory at Coedpoeth.
Tyler Price (2), Taylor Roberts and Olivia Davies shared the goals for Northop Hall in Sunday’s victory at Rowley Drive, Shotton.
Hall are fourth in the table after six wins in their eight matches.
Buckley claimed just their second win of the season thanks to goals from Bethan Hughes (2, 1 pen), Danielle Jones and Millie Robinson.
