ARDAL NORTH EAST

Lex XI 0 Dolgellau Athletic 3

After a couple of blips Dolgellau returned to winning ways and edged up to fifth in the table with a three-goal victory at bottom side Lex.

Dol were facing a potential third game without a win against a team that knocked them out of the league cup.

And it took a bit of time for the visitors to click against a battling Lex side.

The opener came on 31 minutes after Aaron Young’s fantastic run from deep ended with him being taken down in the box. Penalty awarded and Gerwyn Williams stepped up to put Dol in the lead.

A flurry of away chances were spurned but one more was converted before the half when Jamie Jones turned the ball over and released Paul Lewis, who rounded the keeper and placed into the empty net.

In the second half, the visitors missed more opportunities but managed to hold on to their clean sheet.

They also grabbed a late third goal, captain Gerwyn Williams on the mark again with his 25th of the season.

Builth Wells 0 Corwen 3

Victory on the road for Corwen through goals from Scott Evans, Oliver Crimp (penalty) and James Rainbird.

Builth received two red cards – one for an N/A outfield player and the other for manager Jason Samuel.

Llandrindod Wells 0 Llangollen Town 2

Three wins on the bounce for ever-improving Llangollen, this latest three points secured through first half goals from William Cooke and Ben Wilson.

Llanrhaeadr 1 Penycae 1

Zac Davies converted an 86th minute penalty to earn Penycae a point at The Recreation Field.

Llanrhaeadr had taken an eighth-minute lead through William Roberts-Morris.
