Striker Matthew Worrall is believed to be joining Llay Miners Welfare for a fifth time.
The front man, who turns 31 on Sunday, has left Cymru North club Denbigh Town, where he made 21 appearances this season, scoring six goals.
Worrall has played for Llay in four previous spells dating back to 2018 and has already represented the Wrexham club’s Vets side this term.
His other former clubs include Rhyl, Gresford Athletic and Lex XI.
Worrall returned to Denbigh in summer 2025, He has scored 48 goals in 73 games in total, across three spells at Central Park since 2018.
He sits as the club’s 11th-highest recorded goal scorer and won the Lock Stock Ardal North West league and cup double in 2023.
