LOCK STOCK ARDAL NORTH WEST

NFA 1 Llay Welfare 2

A very rare home league loss for NFA, but the man who scored twice for Llay was a familiar name indeed.

The skipper has made the scoresheet for eight matches in a row and in nine of his last 10 outings for the Wrexham-area side.
NFA replied through substitute Chris Durkin on 88 minutes, but it was not enough to save them from their first home league defeat of the season after six wins and five draws at Ffordd Derwen. This was the only game played in Ardal North West on Saturday, all other matches being postponed due to waterlogged pitches.
