Due to the wet weather, just two matches were played across the North Wales Coast Development League on Sunday.
Captain Andrew George made it 16 goals in 16 games with a double for Y Glannau in Sunday’s impressive win over Conwy.
George is the East Division’s second highest marksman behind Soloman Moore of Mochdre Sports Development and has netted eight times in his last three matches for CPD Y Glannau Development.
Dion Channer’s 28th minute goal gave Glannau a half time lead on Sunday, Aled Beardmore with the assist.
After the break George struck twice in a minute on 50 and 51, Owain Jones with both assists, putting the home team in command.
Greg Parry added number four with 62 on the clock, Michael Norval the chance supplier and a 79th minute reply from Conwy’s Jacob Fraser was a mere consolation,
Third-place Kinmel Bay made it 12 wins in 13 outings with a nap-hand showing at Wanderers.
Veteran Ashley Wood began the scoring in the eighth minute, Cam Berry with the assist.
Berry himself nabbed the second on 16, Dan Ward creating the chance, and sub Charlie Hill made it three before the break, Christian Akoha the supplier.
Eight minutes into the second half, Berry put away his second goal, Morgan Gray assisting.
And Harry Woodfine hit the fifth on 62, Berry with his second assist to add to his pair of goals.
