Captain Ioan Sandison struck at the double as Gaerwen remained third with a hard-fought victory at Cae Rhosfain in challenging windy conditions.
The Ynys Môn hosts made the perfect start when Sandison opened the scoring in the fifth minute, finishing with a header after good work from Jay Finter.
Sandison struck again in the 26th minute, this time assisted by Kieran Williams, giving the home side a deserved 2-0 lead heading into half‑time.
The second half saw chances for both teams, with Deiniolen pulling one back in the 77th minute through Sion Foulkes to set up a competitive final spell.
Despite pressure at both ends, Gaerwen held firm with the match ending 2-1.

CPD Aberffraw 2 Llangoed & District 1

Unbeaten Aberffraw made it 13 games without defeat and moved 14 points clear at the summit after a battling 2-1 victory over second-place Llangoed at Cae Cynlas.
Tom Carter registered first for Berffro on 23 minutes before Andy Clarke’s 20th goal of the campaign made it 2-0 after 42, Arwel Williams with the assist.
The Puffins were back in it on 55 minutes when Aaron Evans found the net, Charlie McKenna doing the assisting duties.
The rest of the game was a fierce tussle with plenty of yellow cards handed out, but Berffro held on for another crucial win.

CPD Caernarfon Borough 2 Amlwch Town 3

Cian Evans bagged a 94th minute winner for Amlwch to break the hearts of a Borough outfit who were worthy of a draw.
The home side were without captain Thomas Philp and influential striker Ian Pleming, but took an early lead when goal poaching, Aled Steele rounded the keeper to tap home after 10 minutes. Town levelled through captain Dan Jones in the 24th minute with Tomos Owen edging his side ahead on 29.
Borough seemed rattled and were glad to hear the half-time whistle.
The home side started the second half well and seemed to look more settled. Steele was unlucky to see his strike hit the bar as did Josh Swindell’s thunderbolt.
A change of formation and the introduction of Arwyn Edwards and striker Jamie Brownley seemed to give the home side impetus.
Within minutes, Brownley had scored to make it 2-2 after 62. He and Steele both went close to a third for Boro.
Amlwch seemed happy to sit in deep with forwards Chris Byast and Cai Evans still looking dangerous on the break.
And it was Evans who delivered the late clincher when after a goalmouth scramble from an Amlwch corner, he unleashed a tremendous drive into the top of the net.

Holyhead Town 1 CPD Cefni 2

Cefni edged a tight contest at Millbank.
The visitors started the better, seeing an early chance come off the post following a scramble in the box.
The away side then took the lead on 12 minutes when a pass back was miss-controlled by Steff Parry in the Town goal and Tyler Mapp pounced to find an empty net.
Town then had it all to do when Nik Kontodios saw red for a second yellow.
Holyhead regrouped and got onto level terms when Sion Davies latched onto an Aneurin Saunderson through ball to fire home.
The second half got underway with Town changing their shape and creating chances.
Cefni looked a threat on the counter with Parry making a some good saves.
Town’s resilience was finally broken on 83 minutes when Nathan Hughes headed home a Mapp cross at the near post to seal the win.

CPD Mountain Rangers 1 Llanfairpwll 1

All-square at Cae Gors, Elis Hughes giving Rangers the lead on the stroke of half time only for Ashley Davies to level matters on 61 minutes.
Jake Turnbull missed a chance to win it for ‘Pwll when he failed from the penalty spot.
A big plus for the hosts was the debut as a late substitute of former Everton and Caernarfon Town player Nathan Craig.

CPD Pentraeth P Bethesda Rovers P

CWPAN SNOWDONIA FIRE PROTECTION

Bontnewydd 2 Nantlle Vale 3

Carter Davies grabbed a 93rd minute decider to send Nantlle Vale through to the last eight of the Cwpan Snowdonia.
Sion Jones put Bont ahead after only two minutes before an own goal from Kian Chubb on 16 levelled the tie.
Elis Puw nudged Nantlle in front three minutes into the second half, Jac Bee equalised on 85 only for Davies to deliver that late killer blow for the Penygroes men.

CPD Penrhyndeudraeth 1 CPD Llanberis 0

Reece Evans’ 45th minute strike from a Tomos Smith assist was enough to send Penrhyn into the quarters.
It was a good turnaround for the Maes-y-Parc side, who had lost their previous two matches 7-0 and 5-0 in the league.

PREMIER DIVISION

Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs 2 CPD Llanystumdwy 1

Blaenau made it four straight league wins and seven matches unbeaten in all competitions with a hard-earned victory over Llanystumdwy at Cae Clyd.
The visitors took a 15th minute lead through Arwyn Jones, but late in the first half, Mabon Owen and Deio Williams turned things the Quarrymen’s way with a goal apiece.

Gwalchmai 0 Talysarn Celts 2

Celts needed two late goals to see off battling basement boys Gwalchmai, sub Aled Jones breaking the deadlock on 80 minutes before Jack Usher added a second after 93.
Gwalch were reduced to 10 men with 69 gone when Iwan Sawicz was red-carded.

CPD Nefyn United 3 CPD Boded 0

Iwan Moore was on target for Nefyn

Third-place Nefyn made it four wins on the bounce in which they have piled up 18 goals and not conceded a single one.
Boded gave a debut to new signing, North Wales record goalscorer Asa Thomas, as a 50th minute substitute, but it was not the visiting team’s day.
The Ynys Môn men had coach Rich Williams red-carded on 43 minutes for a second yellow card, the first half ending 0-0.
Out for revenge after a 3-2 league loss at Cae Ty Cristion back in August, the Penwaig made the breakthrough when Steffan Toplis found the net on 54 minutes, Tomi Evans assisting.
Iwan Moore doubled the lead after 66 and Evans notched his 21st goal of the season on 75 to make the game safe, Gethin Trenholme assisting.

Cemaes Bay 2 CPD Mynydd Llandegai 2

Cemaes needed a 90th minute equaliser from Iolo Hughes to salvage a draw at School Lane on Friday night.
Lennon Owen handed Bay a 23rd minute lead, but two Gethin Davies penalties on 70 and 84 looked to have won it for Llandegai before Tom Wood set up Hughes for the leveller.

Menai Bridge Tigers 6 Llanrug United 2

Leaders by eight points, Menai Bridge made it 11 unbeaten and five league wins in succession by hitting Llanrug for six on Friday.
Josh Evans netted first for the visitors on 15, but Matthew Jones (2) and Joni Sadler made it 3-1 to the hosts before Kevin Lloyd hit back for ‘Rug with his 15th goal of the season.
Jones completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot for Bridge on 58 minutes before John Littlemore and 24-goal top-scorer Jamie McDaid made sure of a home triumph.
