Defender Mared Roberts’ first-ever goal for Llangefni was the icing on the cake as the leaders made it nine straight wins at the expense of NFA on Sunday.
While an outstanding performer at the back for the past four seasons, Roberts had not found the net in 81 appearances until her 63rd minute header put Cefni 3-0 up and ensured they will enter 2026 with a six-point lead at the summit.
Taking on an NFA side well-placed in third on their return to Tier 3 this season, Llangefni edged ahead just before half time, then added two more after the break.
The breakthrough came in the 44th minute when top-scorer Amber Brown made ir 17 goals in just 12 games when she volleyed in an Ellie Coulson assist via a Beth Jones corner.
Eleven minutes into the second half, Cefni went two-up with a goal from one of the best shooters in the women’s game.
Ffion Owen lashed in a typical effort from distance – her sixth goal of the season and fourth in three matches – to give the visitors real daylight.
Then on 63 came the magic moment, Roberts heading in brilliantly from a Marissa George corner – cue major celebration pile-on in tribute to the first-time scorer.
There was no coming back from here for NFA as Cefni keeper Katie Spruce made it four clean sheets in her last five league appearances.
In their nine league wins on the bounce, Town have netted 35 goals and conceded a mere three.
