Walis Bryncoch held on to top spot in DIVISION ONE of the Cynghrair Pêl-rwyd Hogan Gwynedd a Môn Netball League last Wednesday (November 26) with a hard-fought 29-23 win over Pwllheli Panthers.

And Walis kept on top, taking the closer 8-4 to clinch the match.

Second-place Tim o Walis recorded a comfortable 35-24 success over Porthmadog.

Walis won the first 12-4, Port hit back to edge the second 7-6, but the Caernarfon side finished on top in the final two to triumph by 11 goals.

After a 5-5 opener, Arfon were 10-8 in front at the midway point, then edged the third 4-3. Mavericks took the last 6-4, but it was not quite enough to save them from their first loss of the campaign.
