Second-place Arfon Ladies clinched the tightest of 22-21 wins over Tim o Walis in Wednesday night’s latest set of Division 1 matches in the Hogan Group Ltd Cynghrair Pêl-rwyd Gwynedd a Môn Netball League.
Trailing 11-9 at half time, Walis produced a big third quarter, winning it 8-4 to be 17-15 ahead entering the last.
However, Arfon turned the tables to take the closer 7-4 and the match 22-21.
Alaw Swyn was outstanding for Arfon, while Mari Davies was exceptional for Walis.
Dyffryn Ladies were always ahead in their clash with Rebals TC and ran out 23-17 winners.
Rebals drew the last quarter 4-4, but it was too late to make a difference.
Dolgellau were in sharp-shooting form as they defeated Fflamau TC 37-19, scoring 9, 10, 9 and 9 over the four sessions.
Pwllheli forfeited their game against Walis Bryncoch, who earned an automatic 40-0 victory.
