Dreigiau’r Dyffryn were involved in a fine battle with Pwllheli Panthers

Walis Bryncoch produced a big last-quarter effort to beat Tim o Walis 32-31 in a thrilling DIVISION 1 top of the table clash last Wednesday (Nov 19).

Tim o Walis led 10-4 after the opener, 17-14 at half time and then 26-22 entering the last, but Bryncoch pulled out all the stops to win the closer 10-5 – and the match.

Steph Owen was a standout player for victorious Dolgellau, who heavily outscored Porthmadog 41-13.

Pwllheli Panthers defeated Dreigiau’r Dyffryn 28-24, with the winners just one goal in front ahead of the final quarter.

Genod Walis celebrated a first win of the campaign as they saw off Bethesda 30-20.

Last Tuesday (Nov 18) saw Holyhead Hawks close the gap on leaders Thunderbirds in DIVISION 2 with a 20-16 success over Thunderstars.

Beth Jones was double Player of the Match for Hawks, Mabli Evans taking the honours for Thunderstars.

Thunderjags overcame Walis Llachar 22-19 in a good contest, while Bethesda Bach edged a tight one against Silyn Aur 21-19. Cara Williams was outstanding for Silyn Aur, who are still winless but getting ever closer to breaking their duck, while Hallie Jones was top player for Pesda.

Erin Roberts produced an exceptional display in her team Walis Wariars’ 30-5 triumph over Pwllheli Dreigiau Dre.
