Llangefni Town 7 (Brown 11, 19, 45+, Coulson 15, 75, Cox 70, 80)
Trearddur Bay 1 (Manning 17)

Amber Brown (blue) has scored 13 goals in her last eight games for Llangefni Town

Amber Brown netted her third hat-trick of the season as Llangefni maintained their 100% record with a seventh straight league win.

The 18-year-old Brown made it 13 goals in her last eight games in a convincing victory for Dan Gregg’s table-toppers at Cae Bob Parry.

Cefni struck first in the 11th minute when Ffion Owen fed a great ball into the box and Brown applied a crisp finish.

Both teams paid their respects to the late and much-missed former FAW president Trefor Lloyd Hughes of Ynys Mon

Brown turned provider in the 15th minute when she assisted scorer Ellie Coulson to make it 2-0.

Bay hit back two minutes later when Abbie Manning found the net.

However, only another two minutes had elapsed when Town made it 3-1.

Brown dispossessed a Bay defender following a poor goalkeeper kick-out and netted with a beautiful chip from 20 yards – absolute class.

Brown completed her treble and bagged Llangefni’s fourth when she capitalised on weak defensive play from the hosts to slot home.

There was a welcome sight for Cefni fans on 55 minutes when striker Jen Cox came on as a substitute.

Cox recently reversed her decision to retire from football, answering the call from management for another striker after the departure of two attacking players.

Jen Cox struck twice after coming on as a sub for Llangefni Town in the second half

And she marked the second appearance of her comeback in typical style, scoring on 70 and 80 minutes to make it 66 goals in 66 outings for a team she has represented from the very start in 2021-22, notching a hat-trick on her debut.

Coulson also found the net on 75 minutes for her second of the game and 56th in 97 games for the all-blues.

Caernarfon Town 1 (Bohana 89)
Denbigh Town 1 (T Jones 22)

Sioned Bohana (back row – fourth from right) scored Caernarfon Town’s late equaliser

Sioned Bohana’s 89th minute equaliser earned a point for Caernarfon at The Oval.

Denbigh had led since the 22nd minute through Talia Jones, who recently returned to football after last being seen in Flint Town United colours in 2022-23.

It looked like the visitors might hold on before the experienced Bohana, who rejoined the Cofis this season, bagged a late leveller.
