Porthmadog have withdrawn their development team from the FAW Reserve League North

Porthmadog have withdrawn their development team from the FAW Reserve League North.

The side had struggled since the start of the campaign, suffering a number of heavy defeats.

In a statement, the club said: “The club regrets to announce that the Development Team have had to withdraw from the Reserve league.

“Unfortunately recently a series of setbacks have meant that it was no longer possible to continue.

“We wish to thank those who have given their time and energy over the last few months.

“The club remains committed to developing local talent and will continue to support junior football in the area.”

“Mae’r clwb yn hynod siomedig i gyhoeddi bod y Tîm Datblygu wedi gorfod tynnu allan o gynghrair yr Ail Dimau.

“Yn anffodus yn ddiweddar, mae cyfres o rwystrau wedi golygu nad oedd yn bosibl parhau mwyach.

“Hoffem ddiolch i’r rhai sydd wedi rhoi o’u hamser a’u hegni dros yr ychydig fisoedd diwethaf.

“Mae’r clwb yn parhau i ymrwymo i ddatblygu talent lleol a bydd yn parhau i gefnogi pêl-droed iau yn yr ardal.”

Porthmadog Development’s results for the 2025-26 season are now expunged and the league table has been amended.
