Former Manchester City pro joins Prestatyn Town

Prestatyn Town’s latest signing has a very interesting football CV.

Nathaniel Oseni, 28, is a former Manchester City pro, a Nigeria youth international. and played for KSF Prespa Birlik, who reached as high as Tier 3 in Sweden.

London-born Oseni, a former product of the Fulham academy, was at City between 2013-16, representing the youth and under-18 sides, which included being part of Patrick Vieira’s Elite Development Squad.

After his stint in Sweden, the versatile performer went on to have spells with southern clubs Whitehawk, Farnborough, Harrow Borough, Salisbury and Walton Casuals. His last club was Maine Road of Manchester, who compete in the North West Counties League.

He can operate in a number of positions but specialises in midfield.

Prestatyn Town manager Gareth Thomas said: “Nathaniel has been training with us for several weeks whilst we have been waiting for his clearance, but we’re delighted he’s finally been cleared and look forward to him joining the squad.”

The Seasiders have been busy in the transfer market of late, recent signings including striker Sam Henry, left-back Jason Akiotu and defender Mackenzie Stark.
