Colwyn Bay tie chosen as live Welsh Cup game – check out final 32

Colwyn Bay (claret and blue) in action against Kinmel Bay in the last round of the Welsh Cup

The JD Welsh Cup Round Three tie between Carmarthen Town and Colwyn Bay has been selected for live Sgorio coverage by S4C.

The fixture at the LHP Stadium will kick off at 6:15pm on Saturday 22 November and will be available to watch on S4C, BBC iPlayer, S4C Clic and Sgorio’s YouTube channel.

Carmarthen Town lifted the JD Welsh Cup in 2007 and reached the quarter-finals of the competition last season. Mark Aizlewood’s side, who currently sit fifth in the JD Cymru South, eased through the previous round with a 5-1 home win over Trethomas Bluebirds.

Colwyn Bay’s best cup run saw them reach the semi-finals in 2021/22. Following promotion from the JD Cymru North last season, the Seagulls are enjoying a strong campaign back in the JD Cymru Premier and currently sit fifth in the table.

A 5-0 home win over Kinmel Bay saw them avoid an upset in the previous round of the cup.
