Kinmel Bay Ladies recreational team kicked off their league campaign with a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Prestatyn Dragonhearts.
Both sides showed determination and worked tirelessly throughout an evenly contested game.
The breakthrough came in the 50th minute when Jade Davies, assisted by Caitlin Latham, put Dragonhearts ahead. Kinmel Bay responded quickly, with Amy Mamwell levelling the score in the 58th minute.
Just two minutes later, skipper Caitlin Blackwell struck to give Kinmel Bay the lead. Dragonhearts hit back almost immediately, as Heidi Morris equalised in the 62nd minute with support from Lauren Dean.
The game ended all square at 2-2, a fair result for two sides who gave their all.
