Winning the toss and batting, Tudno notched up 207-9 off 45 overs, opener Hughes’ innings including 11 fours, while Kevin James added a useful 39, James Hughes taking 3-28 and Ethan Roberts 2-27 for Pont.
The home side perished for 125 and it would have been a lower total but for a last-wicket stand of 32.
Oliver Hughes’ five-for came off nine super-economical overs, while Jack Rimmington bagged 2-30.
