CPD Y Rhyl 1879 have landed a home draw against Caersws in the Nathaniel MG Cup northern section first round.
The tie revives memories of the 2006-07 final of this competition, when the former Rhyl FC met the Bluebirds and lost 3-1 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
Wednesday night’s draw’s other ties delivered Holyhead Hotspur home to Buckley Town, Ruthin Town to entertain Penrhyncoch, Denbigh Town to welcome Flint Mountain, Mold Alexandra to visit Guilsfield and Gresford Athletic will host Brickfield Rangers in a Wrexham derby.
Ties will be played on the weekend of July 18-20.
