Another treble for Penmaenmawr Phoenix – this time OFF the field!

After a treble-winning season on the field, it was little surprise that Penmaenmawr Phoenix were also a big hit at the 2025 FAW McDonald’s Grassroots Football North Wales Awards held at Bangor City Stadium on Wednesday night.

Penmaenmawr won three awards on the evening.

Legendary Phoenix president Chris Davies was handed a Special Recognition award for his outstanding contribution within the club and community.

Pen also won the Fun Football Award where volunteers gave up time to coach and provide free football sessions for children of all abilities within the Conwy and surrounding areas.

The Community Club of the Year accolade was also presented to Penmaenmawr Phoenix for opening up its facilities during the water shortage and allowing the general public free use of its showers and filling water to take home in a time of need.

Alongside that, Pen also created a link between the club and a charity in Ghana that its now sends old kits and other sports equipment to help families and aspiring footballers to be able to play the sport we all love in their communities.

Penmaenmawr Phoenix had their most successful season ever in 2024-25, being crowned undefeated North Wales Coast East Premier Division champions, while also lifting the NWCFA Intermediate Cup and Cookson Cup.
