One of the greatest players ever to represent Caernarfon Town is to receive a well-deserved testimonal from the club.

Darren Thomas, 38, reached 400 appearances for the Canaries this season and has netted almost 150 goals for the Cymru Premier League outfit.

He is worshipped by fans and club officials alike at The Oval and the testimonial announcement comes as no surprise.

The club published the following statement this week:

Testimonial for Darren
We wish to announce that, following Darren Thomas’ outstanding achievement of playing over four hundred matches for our first team, made during a trophy laden fourteen year period, we will be rewarding him with a testimonial match at the start of the 2026/27 season.
If plans for our ground improvements come to fruition, we hope that our first match back for our senior side at the Oval will be the testimonial.
More details to follow in due course.
