CPD Aberffraw 0 Bethesda Athletic 5

Bethesda will be crowned Premier Division champions if they defeat only remaining title rivals Gwalchmai at home on Wednesday night.

Victory at Parc Meurig for Mark N Hughes’ side would give them an unassailable lead at the summit, but any other result would ensure this great race to claim top spot continues.

Pesda nudged closer to a second tier 4 league title in three seasons on Saturday with a five-goal triumph at bottom team Aberffraw.

Scott Hughes opened the scoring on 16 minutes before Berffro suffered a further blow when Tom Carter was red-carded with 20 gone.

Captain Osian Hughes converted the resultant penalty – his 27th goal of the season – and Steffan Davies made it three before half time.

Davies notched Athletic’s 100th league goal of 2024-25

In the second half, Corey Lundstram struck on 48 minutes and Kyle Hartleb completed the rout after 82.
