He finished joint-top scorer in the JD Cymru Premier this season and today he was out of this world.
Louis Lloyd produced one of the greatest striker performances in Caernarfon Town’s history as he netted four goals to send his team roaring into the European Play-Off semi-finals.
A crowd of 834 was at The Oval to see Richard Davies’ side take Barry Town apart after initially going a goal behind.
After relishing a first-ever taste of European football last season there is no doubt Caernarfon want it again!
However, it was Play-Off Conference table-toppers Barry who struck first in this Saturday lunchtime encounter.
Owen Cuddihy drilled in a lovely ball from the left and Eliot Richards showed real poacher instinct by stealing in ahead of the defence to apply a deadly finish past Ben Hughes.
One of the finest partnerships in the top flight combined to make it 1-1 on 23 minutes.
Adam Davies sent a slide-rule pass into Lloyd on the right-side of the box and the 21-year-old exquisitely slipped the ball past keeper Liam Armstrong.
Lloyd produced an outrageous piece of skill near the left byline which led to a clearance cannoning off Sam Downey towards goal, but Armstrong produced a great reaction save.
In first half added time there was joy for the home fans when quick-thinking from Morgan Owen saw his low free kick latched onto by Lloyd, who fired home for 2-1.
The next goal would be crucial and Caernarfon wasted no time in getting it, just a minute into the second half.
This time it was the passing genius of Lloyd which set it up, keeping the ball in play and sending a stunning delivery with the outside of his foot towards Davies, who showed razor-sharpness in picking up possession and finishing superbly with his left foot for goal number eight for the season.
Things got even better when the hosts won a penalty and Lloyd dispatched it with aplomb for his hat-trick.
The Davies-Lloyd combination shone brightly once more on this memorable afternoon on 73 minutes.
Davies showed great skill before driving the ball across the six-yard box where Lloyd finished at the back post for his 20th goal of the season.
In his final appearance for Barry, perhaps it was fitting that Kayne McLaggon headed home a consolation goal for the visitors via a Ieuan Owen cross.
