A fifth straight win for Kinmel Bay was fittingly achieved by a 5-0 scoreline at Lon Bach.
Bay produced a dominant display on the road as they cruised to a convincing victory on Anglesey.
Both teams have a lengthy history on the North Wales senior women’s football scene and it is good to see them still around.
The visitors took control of the game early on, and it wasn’t long before their pressure paid off.
In the 24th minute, Lexie Walsh opened the scoring with a composed finish after being picked out by a clever assist from Georgia Williams.
Kinmel Bay continued to apply the pressure, but Amlwch held firm for the remainder of the first half.
Moving to a more attacking formation at half-time with three substitutions, it was not long before Walsh struck again for the away side, this time latching onto a well-timed pass from Scarlett Gregson to double the lead.
The goal spurred Kinmel Bay on further, and they added a third in the 55th minute through Elin Jones, who capitalised on a defensive lapse to find the back of the net.
The fourth goal arrived just two minutes later, with Bay’s top goal scorer Amy Chesters making it 4-0, finishing confidently following a pinpoint assist from Lucy Perry.
Walsh completed her hat-trick in the 60th minute with a tidy finish to cap off a sensational individual performance from the 16-year-old and a dominant team display.
In just three senior appearances, Walsh has already chalked up eight goals.
Player of the game chosen by Amlwch Town Ladies.was not surprisingly Lexie Walsh.
