Llangefni Town and Berriew edged closer to their respective divisional titles in the North Wales Women’s League tonight.
Cefni moved eight points clear at the West Division summit after a 7-0 victory at fellow islanders Amlwch Town, while the Rhiewsiders also hold an eight-point lead at the East peak following a 5-0 triumph over Coedpoeth United.
Llangefni’s goals were shared between Catrin George (3), Ffion Thomas, Ellie Coulson, Hannah Owen and Ceri Slaney.
On target for Berriew were: Caitlin Gorman, Gemma Jones, Hannah Richards, Bethany Lane and Macy Farrington.
The Powys side can clinch the title with a home win over Northop Hall on April 6
