Wales’ UEFA Club Licensing applicants confirmed for 2025/26 season

Ten of the twelve JD Cymru Premier clubs have submitted applications for a UEFA Men’s Club License for the 2025/2026 season.

Flint Town United and Briton Ferry Llansawel are the two who have not applied.


In the Genero Adran Premier, the FAW has received applications from six of the eight clubs to apply for the UEFA Women’s Club License for the 2025/2026 season.

A UEFA Club License is required for qualifying clubs to participate in UEFA competitions.

The list of UEFA Applicant Clubs in the men’s game are:

Barry Town United
Caernarfon Town
Cardiff Met University
Connah’s Quay Nomads
Haverfordwest County
Newtown
Penybont
The New Saints

Briton Ferry Llansawel

Cardiff Met University
Swansea City
