For Flint, today’s result brought an end to a remarkable run of 14 straight home wins dating back to September 2023.
Nomads threatened first when Polly Wild McGregor was through on goal, but Rebecca Bott produced a fine block.
The deadlock was broken on 32 minutes when Wild Mc-Gregor latched onto Nicole Samson’s threaded pass and tucked away the rebound from her initial effort which was saved.
Wild-McGregor added a second in the 39th minute when she applied a cool finish after being released by an Ella Jones through ball.
Phoebe Ellis made it three early in the second half when she finished well from another Ella Jones assist.
