Rhyl 1879 managers commit to end of 2025-26 season

CPD Y Rhyl 1879’s management team have signed a deal to keep them at the club until the end of the 2025-26 season.

Paul Moore and Ronnie Green have made a fantastic impact since taking over the Lilywhites in November, going unbeaten in seven games, winning six and leading the side to the Ardal North West League summit.

The pair have also brought in some exciting new signings to boost the club’s quest to challenge for the Tier 3 league title.

A statement from Rhyl 1879 said: “We are thrilled to share some fantastic news with all our supporters, volunteers, and the wider football community. Just two months into their roles, Paul and Ronnie have already made a remarkable impact at CPD Y Rhyl 1879.

“We are now proud to announce that both have committed their futures to our club, signing contracts that will keep them with us until the end of the 2025/26 season.

“This announcement follows a wave of interest in Paul and Ronnie from other clubs across the North-West of England, highlighting their exceptional reputation and the respect they command within the footballing world. Their decision to stay with us speaks volumes about their belief in our club’s ambition and the incredible journey we are embarking on together.

“Under their leadership, we have enjoyed an incredible unbeaten start to their arrival. Their vision, tactical expertise, player knowledge and passion for the game have brought a renewed sense of pride to CPD Y Rhyl 1879 and inspired everyone involved with the club.

“Paul and Ronnie’s commitment is not just a win for the team on the pitch but also a massive boost for our dedicated volunteers and loyal supporters who give so much to make this club special.
