Connor Owen has reached 100 goals for CPD Gwalchmai at the age of 19.
Gwalch’s No10 achieved his ton today after scoring the opener in his team’s 2-2 draw at Llannerchymedd in the tier 4 North Wales Coast West Premier Division.
The young forward has made it to the century landmark in 111 appearances for the Anglesey side.
2021-22: 29 games, 12 goals
2022-23: 35 games, 39 goals
2023-24: 33 games, 29 goals
2024-25: 14 games, 20 goals
Connor has rattled up 11 hat-tricks for Gwalch, including three in consecutive matches in 2022-23 against Amlwch Town, Penrhyndeudraeth and Mynydd Llandegai.
His highlights include scoring in Gwalch’s 3-1 victory over Penrhyndeudraeth in last season’s NWCFA intermediate Cup final at Bangor.
And in 2022-23, he notched a hat-trick in the final of the Cwpan Snowdonia Fire and Security Cup, which saw the Maes Meurig men defeat Talysarn Celts 3-2 at Maes Eilian, Llanfairpwll.
Connor grabbed the 89th minute decider from the penalty spot.
The No 10 is in phenomenal goalscoring company at Gwalch with two of Anglesey’s greatest ever marksmen, Asa Thomas and Marc ‘Logs’ Evans also in the squad.
Today Connor reached 20 goals for the 2024-25 season from 14 matches in all competitions, including 12 in nine in the league.
Sixty-five of his 100 club goals have come in the league.
